What is Adolescent Medicine?
Adolescent Medicine is a subspecialty in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine that deal with multidisciplinary aspects of adolescents health and well-being whose ages usually range from 10 to 17 years old. It focuses on inpatient and outpatient health care, juvenile justice, gender care, college health, sports medicine, substance abuse, mental care and reproductive care.
