What is The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology?
Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant (AHFTx) is a subspecialty of cardiology that focus on the management of advanced cardiac disease, including the use of support devices, as well the selection of and pre-/post-management of the cardiac transplant recipient.
The fellows training in the AHFTx program will get specialized education in the pathophysiology and treatment of heart failure, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
